And here the full story of our bike.
Big fans ... read here, where we expose you how it was built Americana.
Americana is a theme-bike developed by German artist Steven, South Tyrolean aerographer Hups and, of course, the Vicenza based Free Spirits. They joined in occasion of the 27th Bikerfest to present an impressive show bike. Steven has been inspired by the colors of the dawn by the sea: orange and blue, which were the colors of the show, have been mixed with Maori elements. The livery has been masterfully enriched by Hups giving joining power end elegance.
We started from a Triumph America:
This was the first step in the rebuilding process of the bike ... that momentarily, after hours of hard work, is completely undressed, waiting to be reconstructed from original parts that will give a touch aggressive, impressive but also very technical.
Here some pictures of that day:
After it is striped that remained was to build something only for her.
We spent between design and test, more time to this stage, but at the end of this stage successes and less ended. Among the various ideas no was discarded, while others have come to be part of the project. At the end we were happy and we were ready for the last phase of the assembly of America.
Here we are for the last phase of America. Here there are the various modifications, with technical explanations for the most passionate.
Regarding the engine, it can count on bigger aspiration horns (cod. 304020) and on a new exhaust, inspired by USA muscle car. The db killer does not affect the performances. A ECM Tfi unit is installed to optimize the engine modification (cod. 049931).
The rear fork is CNC machined and support a 240 mm tyre: the visual impact is sure but far away to compromise bike's performances. Transmission has been repositioned: an additional pinion move the chain on the outside. The self carrier rear mudguard, shortened and suspended by reduce distance dumper, can host the passenger on the additional saddle. To complete the rear part of the chassis, CNC machined footpegs and plaque holder with lights (cod. 308915).
The front part of the chassis has been revolutioned: the fork is an Harley-Davidson aftermarket component by Motorcyclestorehouse, with a completely new hydraulics, as well as front wheel and hub, which suit the new triple trees, designed to improve the stability of the Triumph America. The cockpit see a smaller speedometer positioned on the tank, original rear view mirror under the bar with dedicated bracket (cod. 302305) which host a bigger pump to manage Brembo 4 pistons-calipers (positioned on ad-hoc frame). 320 mm discs are by Newfren realized through total temper without EFD induction.
And here the same motorcycle built, that was officially presented at the 27th Biker Fest 2013:
What can I say ... this is how it ends the metamorphosis of our bike.
See you next time for another bike and another story.
